Standup
Walkthrough
Walkthrough turns the live Gantt into a standup: it spotlights one person's work at a time while the rest of the chart quiets down, and steps through the team in turn. The chart stays real and editable the whole time.
Starting a walkthrough
Open the Actions menu in the chart's top-right toolbar and choose “Walkthrough”. It goes full-screen and lands on the first person. Exit with the Exit button or Esc — leaving fullscreen also closes it.
How the spotlight reads
The focused person's bars go full-size and bright with their dependency lines emphasized; everyone else's work stays visible but dimmed, so the team keeps context without losing the thread. The chart also frames itself around the current person's work so their bars sit in the middle of the view.
A panel at the bottom carries the read: who's up (with a position counter and prev/next), the current task's dates, progress, description and comments, and their progress notes. Press Enter to expand or collapse that detail.
Navigating and scoping
- ← / → step between people (or teams, in By-team mode); ↑ / ↓ step through the current person's tasks.
- Pick a time range — Last + this week (default), This week, This month, or All. Only people with work in the range appear in the lineup, so a narrow range keeps the standup tight.
- Group By person or By team; capture a + Note or + Action item as the meeting runs, and open the Recap at the end to review what was captured.
“Walkthrough or Report?”
Walkthrough is live facilitation — you present on the real chart, in the room, and it stays editable as you talk. The Report is the asynchronous counterpart: a generated summary you can read, share, or present from a slide deck without gathering anyone. Same team, two moments — the meeting vs the status update.
“My zoom changed after I exited.”
Walkthrough frames the chart to each person as it goes, and exiting doesn't snapshot the zoom/scroll you had before — it clears back to a fresh view. Re-set your zoom after leaving if you need your prior position; it's a small known rough edge.
Recap
- Live standup — Actions ▾ → Walkthrough; presents on the real, still-editable chart.
- One person at a time — their bars brighten, the rest dims; a panel carries the detail.
- Steer — ←/→ people, ↑/↓ tasks, a range filter, notes + action items, a recap.
- vs Report — live in the room; the Report is the async summary.
