Overview

Portfolio timeline

The Portfolio timeline puts every project you can see on one shared timeline — one row per project — so you can read the whole workspace at a glance: what's active, what's overdue, what's coming. It's a read-only overview; drill into a project to edit.

Every project on one timeline — each row shows a status pill, a progress fill, and milestones; read-only.

Opening it

On the projects page, switch from Grid to Timeline (the toggle at the top). Each row is a whole project, its bar running from its earliest task to its latest, with a progress fill, milestone diamonds, key-date markers, and the today line.

What each row tells you

The gutter carries the project's name, owner, member avatars, a progress count (done / total), and a status pill:

  • Upcoming — starts after today · Active — today falls inside it · Past due — ended but not finished · Done — 100% complete · “—” — nothing scheduled yet.
  • Filter by relation (Owned / Member / Guest), scope the window (This quarter / This year / All time), and sort by start, name, or progress. Empty projects sort last.

Getting around

Zoom from day to year, jump to today with the Today button, and toggle a project's key-date markers on or off. Click anywhere on a row to open that project in the full chart — the portfolio itself never edits anything, which is why it stays fast and safe to hand to a stakeholder. On a phone it becomes a stack of tappable project cards.

“Which projects show up here?”

Exactly the ones on your projects list — projects in workspaces you own, public projects in workspaces you're a member of, private projects shared with you, and single projects you're a guest on. The portfolio uses the same access rules as the grid, so a guest never sees the rest of a workspace here.
